Grief & Loss Therapy

Grief is a natural response to loss, but the emotional impact can be overwhelming and complex. Individuals may experience sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, or difficulty adjusting to life after a loss.

Our therapists provide compassionate support as clients process their grief, honor their loss, and gradually find ways to move forward.

Overview

Treatment Approaches

Our clinicians use evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each client’s needs, including:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Helps individuals explore different emotional responses to loss and develop compassion toward parts experiencing pain or longing.

  • Grief Counseling: Provides space to process emotions and memories associated with loss.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps address thoughts that may contribute to prolonged or complicated grief.

  • Meaning-Centered and Narrative Therapy: Supports individuals in finding meaning and rebuilding life after loss.
