Annie Donahue

About Annie
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help high-functioning, anxious individuals—especially working moms, caregivers, and professionals in high-stress careers like healthcare and law—feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more connected to themselves and others. I also work with those navigating major life transitions, including the physical and emotional shifts that come with perimenopause and midlife. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered care, with a strong focus on equity, advocacy, and building authentic, supportive relationships.

Annie’s Approach to Therapy
I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, DBT-informed techniques, and solution-focused strategies to support you in developing practical tools and deeper self-awareness.

Therapy should feel like a supportive partnership—not a clinical interrogation. I aim to create a space that feels safe, warm, and judgment-free, where you can exhale, be real, and start to make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to create more balance and meaning in your day-to-day life.

Fun Fact
When she’s not working, you might find Annie catching up on her favorite Bravo shows, riding bikes with her family, lounging at the beach or hitting tennis balls with her husband.
