I help children and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, school stress, emotional shutdown, or low self-confidence feel safer in their world, more capable of managing difficult emotions, and more connected to themselves and the people around them.
Many of the young people I work with are struggling quietly beneath the surface. Some experience intense anxiety around school, academic pressure, friendships, or social situations. Others feel emotionally overwhelmed and begin withdrawing, shutting down, avoiding school, or reacting with frustration and irritability because they do not yet have the tools to express what they are feeling internally.
For many families, these struggles can quickly affect daily life—mornings become stressful, school attendance becomes difficult, confidence drops, and both children and parents can begin feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward.
I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents navigating school anxiety, school avoidance, emotional overwhelm, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to create a space where young clients feel emotionally safe enough to open up at their own pace while building healthier coping skills, confidence, and resilience over time.
I provide telehealth therapy throughout New Jersey for children, adolescents, and families seeking support through emotional, behavioral, and school-related challenges.

With nearly 10 years of experience in K–12 school settings, I bring a strong understanding of the academic, emotional, and social pressures students face both inside and outside the classroom. This experience allows me to support clients not only emotionally, but also within the broader context of school expectations, peer relationships, family stress, and developmental changes.
I focus on helping young people build resilience, improve self-confidence, and develop practical tools that help them feel calmer, more emotionally regulated, and more capable in their daily lives.
What It’s Like to Work with Me
My style is warm, patient, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where children and teens feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment or pressure to open up before they are ready.
I understand that when anxiety becomes overwhelming, children often stop feeling emotionally safe in environments they once managed—especially school. Therapy helps slow things down so young clients can better understand what they are experiencing, feel more in control of their emotions, and gradually rebuild confidence in themselves and their ability to cope.
Some clients benefit from talking through emotions and experiences, while others connect more through practical coping strategies, mindfulness skills, emotional regulation work, or supportive problem-solving. I tailor sessions to each child’s emotional and developmental needs while also collaborating closely with parents and caregivers to support progress outside of therapy.
Depending on the situation, therapy may include individual sessions with the child or teen, parent support sessions, or collaborative family involvement when helpful.
