Rosemarie Approach to Therapy
Rosemarie works with high-achieving professionals who appear confident and capable on the outside, yet internally struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, obsessive thinking, and chronic stress that can contribute to OCD patterns and burnout. Her approach is eclectic and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). When treating OCD, she primarily utilizes ERP, the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment, to help clients reduce compulsions and increase tolerance for uncertainty. Rosemarie works from a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, recognizing how past experiences can contribute to perfectionism, over-functioning, and self-criticism. Her work is informed by her Christian faith, emphasizing inherent worth, grace over perfection, and growth through seasons of struggle. Faith is never imposed and is integrated only at the client’s request, ensuring alignment with each client’s values and therapeutic goals. She strives to create a collaborative, supportive environment where clients feel understood, appropriately challenged, and empowered to live according to their values rather than anxiety or fear.
